(1) Hotels — Convenient, Short-Stay Friendly
Several hotels are within walking distance of the school — including one directly across the street. A great option for students staying one to two months, or anyone who prefers the convenience of included breakfast, daily housekeeping, laundry, and a gym.
Hotels range from budget guesthouses to comfortable mid-range options. Typical rates:
- Budget guesthouses: from ~$25–35/night
- Mid-range hotels (Wi-Fi, breakfast included): from ~$40–60/night

(2) School Dorm — Economical, Long-Stay Friendly
Our on-site and off-site school studios are the most economical choice for students staying several months. Each is a furnished studio with a private bathroom, a small kitchen, and a washing machine — and the on-site studio is in the same building as the school.
- Rent: ¥2,800–¥3,200/month (RMB)
- Wi-Fi: not included
School dorm — booking & refund policy
First come, first served. We reserve a school dorm only once payment is received — we cannot guarantee or hold a room based on any oral commitment.
The dorm is rented by the month. Once you have checked in, rent is non-refundable — and if your plans change and you check out early, the remaining rent for your booked period is also non-refundable.
(3) Apartments — Independent, Long-Stay Friendly
For students staying 1 month or longer, a private one- to two-bedroom apartment offers more independence and more modern facilities. We can help you find apartments near the school or with easy public transport access.
Typical Kunming apartment costs:
- Whole 1-bedroom apartment: $400–$800/month
- Larger apartments: $600–$1,000/month
Prices depend on location, size, and furnishings. All apartments we recommend have Wi-Fi and are either walking distance from school or near a bus/metro stop.
