Accommodation FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions — Accommodation

① What accommodation options are available?

We help every student find housing. Two main options:

  • Hotels — great for short stays (1–4 weeks). Several are within walking distance of the school, including one directly across the street. Typically includes Wi-Fi, breakfast, and daily housekeeping. Budget guesthouses from ~$25–35/night; mid-range from ~$40–60/night.
  • Apartments — better value for stays of 1 month or more. More independence. All have Wi-Fi. Single rooms from $158–$236/month; whole apartments from $200–$400/month depending on size and location.

② How far is accommodation from school?

Hotels we recommend are close to the school — one is directly across the street. Apartments range from walking distance to a short metro/bus ride. Tell us your preferences and we'll match you with something convenient.

③ Do I need to arrange accommodation myself?

No — we help. When you apply, let us know your preferences (budget, room type, stay length) and we'll handle the search and introduction. Apply here →

④ What about internet access in China?

All accommodation includes Wi-Fi. However, China restricts access to Google, WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, and most Western apps. We strongly recommend downloading and setting up a reliable VPN before you arrive in China if you need access to these services for work or staying in touch with family.
