How to Pay

Accepted Payment Methods

KCEL accepts the following payment methods. All fees are quoted and billed in US dollars (USD):

  • Bank transfer (USD or CAD)
  • Wise
  • WeChat Pay
  • Alipay
  • PayPal

When you enroll, we send one invoice covering the one-time $100 USD registration fee plus your full tuition, together with a payment guide that lists the exact, current account details for every method — including the precise beneficiary name for bank transfers. Please copy the beneficiary name exactly as written in the guide; even a small spelling difference can cause your bank to reject or hold the transfer.

When Is My Spot Confirmed?

Your teacher and study schedule are reserved once your full payment (registration fee + tuition) is received. Spots are allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis, which matters most during the busy summer season. For students who need X2 visa support, the School Admission Letter is also issued only after full payment.

Protect Yourself from Payment Fraud

Before sending any payment, please verify:

  • Emails from KCEL only come from addresses ending in @learnchineseinkunming.com. Check the spelling of the domain carefully — scammers have imitated our school using look-alike domains with an extra or swapped letter.
  • We only accept the payment methods listed above, using the account details in the payment guide we send with your invoice. We never ask for payment via Zelle, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or personal money-transfer apps not listed in the guide.
  • If you receive payment instructions that differ from an earlier email, or anything feels off, stop and email us at the address on this website to confirm before sending money.

Common Questions

Can I pay part now and the rest later?

You can enroll for a smaller block of classes and add more later. However, your spot and schedule are only reserved once the invoice for that block is paid in full — and X2 visa materials require full payment of a qualifying program first.

What if my transfer is rejected or delayed?

Occasionally banks hold international transfers for verification. Email us right away — we can confirm the receiving details, provide any information your bank requests, or switch you to an alternative method such as Wise or PayPal.

Is there a refund if my visa application is rejected?

Yes. If your X2 visa application is refused, we refund your full tuition upon receiving a copy of the official rejection notice. The $100 registration fee is non-refundable.
